To replace the centre high-level brake light on a car, first open the rear hatch and position yourself centrally. At the top centre of the rear window, you will find a plastic cover that houses the brake light.

Unscrew the screws of the cover, disconnect the plastic connector supplying power to the light, remove the bulbs from the light, and replace the blown one. Reinsert the bulbs into the light, remount it in the central position, and screw the plastic cover back on.
