How to Replace the Glass on a Wing Mirror

To replace the glass on a wing mirror, first use a protective cover for the wing to avoid damaging any components of the car and use tape to mask the mirror housing. To extract the mirror from the housing, tilt it slightly and check if it has retaining clips; if so, loosen them. Now, carefully pull out the mirror and release it from its support. Remove the glass from the mirror and disconnect the electrical connectors, applying a treatment product to them. Proceed with the installation of the new mirror: insert the electrical connectors and install the new glass by pressing in the centre. Ensure that the glass is correctly aligned with the locking tabs in the housing.
