Let's see how to remove the engine oil cooler of a BMW. We remove the engine cover so we can identify the part. In order to remove the cover we have to unscrew three screws. We will also remove the air vent, where we will find an electric plug, which we will disconnect. We remove the two screws of the aerator and remove it to make room. We can now access the oil cooler. We remove the clamps that hold the pipes that carry the oil to the radiator and let the oil contained within it drain. Now we can unscrew and remove it, along with its gasket.
