How to replace the pulley of the v-ribbed belt tensioner

In this video tutorial we can see how it is possible to replace the pulley of the Poly-V belt tensioner roller, following some basic steps: the reasons for which the belt tensioner pulley is required to be replaced can be various such as: jams or noise at the starting the engine or during operation. To replace the belt tensioner pulley, the belt must be removed. The material needed to perform this type of work: a new belt tensioner pulege kit, a set of special tools, the torque wrench, the anaerobic sealant and the WD-40 lubricant spray and wire brush. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the special rod. In some vehicles it is necessary to remove the wheel and some parts of the bodywork, in others it is possible to access from the front right wheel arch. We can take a picture or draw a belt routing diagram. Loosen the serpentine belt, loosen the tensioning mechanism, attach a suitable tool to the belt tensioner and move it to one side; after loosening the belt it will be necessary to remove it from one of the pulleys, return the tensioning mechanism to its original position and remove the belt from the other pulleys as well. Check the various parts for damage and replace them if necessary. Remove the pulley cover and unscrew the pulley fastener and remove it. Clean the seat of the tensioner and install the new pulley with a new fastener.
