How to Clean the Diesel Particulate Filter in the Engine

In this short video tutorial, you can see how to clean the diesel particulate filter in car engines by following these simple steps: if your vehicle experiences power drops or malfunctions due to a clogged filter, the first step is to purchase a particulate filter cleaner from Wurth (see description in the video) at an authorised dealer; next, get into the vehicle, turn off the engine, and pull the handbrake. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate prop. Without necessarily removing the filter, remove the temperature or pressure sensor, insert the probe through the opening, and empty the entire contents (do not use the filter cleaner with the engine hot). A regeneration must then be performed (without regeneration, the cleaning procedure will be ineffective), using a diagnostic system or a road test.
