Here’s how to replace glow plugs on a vehicle. The glow plug is a heating element that helps start a diesel engine in cold conditions. First, open the bonnet and remove the engine cover. Locate the glow plugs, wait for the engine to cool down, and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Remove the electrical connections from the glow plugs and detach the terminal. Clean the area thoroughly. Use a torque wrench and set it to the manufacturer's specified torque to avoid breaking the glow plug, then unscrew and remove it.
