If you frequently top up your radiator fluid, you may have one of two problems: a water leak or a head gasket problem. In the first case this happens from the thermostat, water pump or radiator. Sleeves hardly break, at least lately. Thermostats are made of plastic, so over time, heat and cold damage them; the water pump has a bearing with an oil seal, which also wears out over time and leads to leaks. The pump is inside the distribution, so if it opens completely it can cause major damage. The advice is therefore to replace the pump when doing the distribution, because it is a big operation, and if the pump is damaged, it will have to be done all over again. We could have microleaks from the water radiator; the two caps are made of plastic and are equally damaged, especially as they are in contact with the metal of the radiator which however tends to produce small cuts over time, and therefore to generate leaks. Let's see instead the problem given by the head gasket. Recently, the gaskets are made up of three metals and therefore hardly burn, but equally it could happen that you see oil stains in the tank, a sign that the head gasket is burnt. Another system is to fill the tank to the brim with water, open the cap and start the car. If air bubbles come out, the cylinder head is blown. In that case you really risk doing damage if you don't fix it right away.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHandbrake adjustment on Ford EcosportFirst remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base. by ScegliAuto More videos
