However, if the LPG system was installed later, after purchasing the car, the 10-year term starts from the installation of the LPG system and not from the vehicle's registration. The regulations also state that replacement must occur after 10 years; in fact, anyone stopped with a cylinder installed for more than 10 years may face heavy penalties, which can include the seizure of the vehicle.
