If the smart key of your Audi S8 (2016-2022) no longer works due to a completely dead battery, don't worry as we will discover how to replace it in just a few seconds. First, remove the physical emergency key by pulling it outwards, then take out the battery holder and replace the old button cell with a new one (model CR2032). Finally, reassemble the battery holder and insert the emergency key back into the cover. Test the key's functionality and you're done.
