In these cases, park the vehicle on a flat surface, lift the bonnet, and secure it with the appropriate prop, allow the engine to cool, open the coolant reservoir cap, and check the fluid level, topping up if necessary.

If the temperature gauge shows a reading above zero, check the radiator hose; if the thermostat is still cold, it may be faulty. It is also necessary to clean the radiator of dirt, so it needs to be removed and rinsed with a special agent.

If the fan is faulty, ensure that the bearings are not worn.
