There is always talk about where the fuse boxes are, but rarely about how to change them. This guide is generic and explains how to replace a fuse when necessary. When something electrical isn't working, the first thing to check is the fuse, as an overload may have caused it to blow rather than damaging the electrical system. Consult the owner's manual to locate the fuse box and identify the faulty fuse. If it has blown, it should be easy to find; ensure you use the correct amperage as specified by the manufacturer, and use the special tweezers usually provided in the main box. Remove the damaged fuse and replace it with a new one. Before closing the fuse box, check the operation of the component you worked on. If the fuse blows again, there is a more significant issue at hand, and you should visit a garage.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
