To check if the coolant temperature sensor (commonly known as the bulb) is functioning correctly, proceed as follows: connect the multimeter probes to the two pins inside the connector, possibly using tweezers, set the multimeter to the resistance reading scale, secure the sensor to a support, and heat it using a heat gun: if the sensor works, as the temperature increases, the electrical resistance value should decrease, and it will increase as it cools.
