How to replace the glow plugs in a diesel engine

First, remove the engine cover using a 10mm spanner. Use an 8mm spanner to loosen the nut of the glow plug to be replaced, which remains attached to its cable. With a 10mm socket, unscrew the glow plug and remove it. You will see that it is very dirty. Take the new glow plug and place it in position. Tighten it in place with the same 10mm socket, then check it with a torque wrench. Now insert the nut using the 8mm socket. If necessary, replace all four using the same method. Then refit the cover, and the job is complete.
