How to replace the wheel speed sensor

Wheel speed sensors are part of the vehicle's ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), which distributes braking force to each wheel. These sensors are installed near the wheel's rotation axes and are responsible for reading rotation speed data and sending it to the control module of the system. If one of the systems is faulty, the system switches to emergency mode. If a malfunction occurs, it is important to replace the sensor immediately. To replace the sensor, clean the connector and then disconnect it; the sensor may be attached to the bodywork or be a one-piece unit. Next, unscrew the ABS sensor's fastening elements and remove the sensor from its mounting location. After that, clean the sensor's mounting area and install the new sensor. Finally, reconnect the sensor to the connector.
