How to Replace the Ignition Switch on a Dodge Caravan

If the ignition key tends to jam, it is likely that the ignition lock or some of its components have worn out. Made of brass or aluminium alloy, these parts can wear down after many uses. To replace the ignition switch, remove all plastic covers around the steering column to expose the switch. Disconnect the transponder antenna and press the retaining tab of the switch to extract it, ensuring the key is inserted. Reverse the process for installing the new switch, making sure to engage the retaining tab in the designated slot.
