You will also need masking tape, fine-grit polishing compound, and cotton pads (makeup pads will work perfectly). First, apply the masking tape to define the area to be treated. Wet the area and start with the coarsest grit, keeping the area moist. Gradually move to finer grits, maintaining moisture and drying with a soft cloth. After using the 5,000 grit, you are ready to apply the polishing compound with the cotton pads. Clean with a cloth, and the result is truly excellent.
