How to Reset the Service Light with Multiecuscan

To reset the service light on a Fiat using the Multiecuscan software (formerly known as FiatECUScan), follow these steps: Ensure you have a compatible OBD2 diagnostic cable and an updated version of the Multiecuscan software installed on your computer. You can purchase the compatible OBD2 diagnostic cable for your Fiat from diagnostic equipment suppliers or online. Connect the OBD2 diagnostic cable to the car's OBD2 port. The OBD2 port is usually located under the dashboard on the driver's side. Launch the Multiecuscan software on your computer and select the correct model and year of your Fiat from the list of supported vehicles. Select the appropriate control unit for the service reset. Typically, the control unit for the service reset is called "BCM" (Body Control Module) or "Service Reset". After selecting the correct control unit, follow the instructions in the Multiecuscan software to perform the service reset. You may need to access a specific function within the control unit or select the "Reset Service" or "Oil Service Reset" option from the menu. During the reset process, you may be prompted to enter some information, such as the date of the last oil change. Provide the requested information following the software's instructions. After completing the service reset, the Multiecuscan software will display a confirmation message. Check that the service counter has been reset or set correctly. Disconnect the OBD2 diagnostic cable from the car and close the Multiecuscan software on your computer.

How to Bleed the Clutch on a Renault Clio?
