How to Replace the Windscreen Wiper Water Pump

First, release the bonnet from the appropriate lever and lift it. This allows you to locate the reservoir for the windscreen washer fluid; the pump is located inside it. Disconnect the connector on the edge of the reservoir. Now disconnect any hoses attached to it. If the pump is external, pull it upwards to remove it, and clean the opening from where the pump draws water from the reservoir. Then reconnect the various hoses and connectors. Reverse the steps described for reassembling the various components.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
