How to remove the writings from the body of our car

Model: (Various brands) Various
Part: Body

In this video we can see how to remove the writings we find on the body of our car; in fact, not everyone likes them and many find the body more pleasant without the metallic stickers. It will be enough to use dental floss, from which we cut a piece of suitable size. We wrap it around our fingers and then we pass it with an alternating movement around the letter we intend to remove, in order to cut the adhesive without damaging the underlying paint. The glue remains attached, but we manage to remove it later with patience. When we have removed all the glue residue, we clean with polish to remove any shading residue, then apply a layer of wax to eliminate any streaks.

After positioning your car on a column lift: raise it to a comfortable height to work on, loosen the wheel nuts (using a socket wrench or air drill) and remove the wheel. Begin unscrewing the brake disc bolts with a socket wrench. Remove the bolts located under the disc and completely detach the wheel hub. Pull the arm around the joint with your hands. Fit the new boot (after removing the old one) onto the constant velocity joint, then start reassembling all the parts in reverse order.
