In order to deactivate the "Active component protection" on VAG group cars, you will need to connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD port of the vehicle: on cars of these brands, it is generally located under the steering column. Once the connection is established, you will be able to select the model of the car in question and its corresponding version: then you can proceed to remove the error stored in the control unit that causes the activation of this warning light. Once the error is eliminated, you can disconnect the scanner and verify that everything is functioning properly.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
