When to Replace the Air Filter on a Vehicle?

Model: (Various brands) Various
Part: Air filter

This video is currently unavailable

The air filter is crucial for the health of a vehicle's engine as it traps dust and other debris from entering the engine. Therefore, it should be replaced every 9,000 or 12,000 miles.

If the filter is paper, you will need to open the bonnet to remove it from its housing and insert a new one. If the air filter is fabric, simply wash and oil it before reinserting. The filter should also be replaced at least once a year, but if you drive on very dusty roads, consider doing it every 6 months.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
