How to Remove the Front Headlamp of a New Beetle

In this video, learn how to remove and refit the front headlamp along with its bulbs of a Volkswagen New Beetle. Compared to many cars, the vehicle mentioned in the video has a very simple and quick headlamp removal system (both front and rear). First, lift the bonnet, reach into the engine bay, and (specifically at the back of the headlamp) pull the plastic lever upwards (magically, the headlamp will detach from its housing). Disconnect the power connector and replace the damaged bulbs or replace the entire unit. The reassembly phase is straightforward: slide the headlamp into its guides as shown in the video and lower the previously lifted lever until the headlamp clicks into place. Finally, test the correct operation of the lights.
