How to Remove the Front Headlamp of a Volkswagen New Beetle

How to remove and refit the front headlamp of a Volkswagen New Beetle. To begin: lift the bonnet, reach into the engine bay, and (specifically at the back of the headlamp) pull the plastic lever upwards (the headlamp will magically detach from its housing). Disconnect the power connector and replace any damaged bulbs or the entire unit. The reassembly phase is very simple: slide the headlamp into its housing as shown in the video and lower the previously lifted lever until the headlamp clicks into place. Finally, test the operation of the lights.
