Today's main instructions will show you how to disable the immobiliser on the Volkswagen Passat CC in case of emergency or malfunction. First, get inside the vehicle and turn on the ignition by inserting the key; you will then see the immobiliser active warning appear on the instrument display.

Now, disconnect the electrical connector located on the steering column, keeping it disconnected for about ten seconds; then reconnect it and turn the ignition back on, thus disabling the vehicle's immobiliser.
