The battery in a Volkswagen Golf 7 should be replaced after a failure or after five years of use. The steps to follow are: - open the front bonnet; - disconnect the battery terminals, starting with the positive terminal followed by the negative, to disconnect it from the vehicle; - unscrew the nuts securing the battery; - remove the battery from its housing; Once the battery is removed, proceed to install the new battery.

Place the new battery into the compartment and connect the terminals, tighten the nuts, and test its functionality.

Finally, close the bonnet.
