On the Volkswagen Touareg, resetting the Service light requires you to turn on the ignition by turning the key in the ignition switch. Once the dashboard lights up, press the CAR button located on the central panel of the dashboard.

A screen will appear on the display where you need to select "Service" and then "Reset service interval". By selecting these two options, you can confirm that the Service light has been reset, and then turn off the ignition with the key.
