How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Touareg?

Model: Volkswagen Touareg MK 1, 7L - Years 2002-2010
Part: Service warning light

You can reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Touareg by holding down the button located at the bottom left of the instrument cluster. While holding it down, turn the key to activate the instrument cluster: a message will appear on the screen asking if you really want to clear the Service light. By pressing the OK button located on the right side of the steering wheel, the light will be cleared, and you can verify that the reset was successful by turning the display off and on again using the ignition key.
