In the following guide, we will explain how to correctly and safely replace the engine air filter of your second-generation Volkswagen Tiguan. First of all, turn off the car and let the engine cool down for a few minutes, then go outside and lift the front hood. Place the appropriate safety support and locate the air filter box located just below the battery, on the right side of the engine compartment. At this point, unscrew all the screws of the cover with a crosshead screwdriver and remove the cover. Finally, replace the old filter with a new one.
