Replacing the Engine Air Filter on a Tiguan 2.0 TDI

How to replace the engine air filter? Let's look at removing the air filter from inside the engine bay of the Volkswagen. Open and lift the front bonnet, then locate the air filter housing. Unscrew the securing screws located at the sides of the filter housing. Remove the cover from the top of the housing once the securing screws are removed. Take out the old air filter from inside the housing. Clean the air filter container and prepare for the installation of the new part. Fit the new filter inside the plastic housing. Check all operational parts of the Tiguan.
