Oil filter replacement for the Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI

Following this short and simple guide, we will see how to perform the regular maintenance check, replacing the engine oil and oil filter of the Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI. First, lift the vehicle and start by removing the lower plastic cover of the engine; then, unscrew the oil drain plug found on the oil pan, letting it drain into a container for about ten minutes, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew the oil filter cartridge, replacing it with a new one; finally, unscrew the fill cap and top up with the new engine oil!
