Volkswagen Jetta - Video tutorial
Model: Volkswagen Jetta
A4, MK 4
- Years 1998-2005 In this short and simple guide we will see how to disassemble and replace the engine oil pan of the Volkswagen Jetta, but also of the Golf and Bora. First we lift the car and start draining the engine oil, unscrewing the vent bolt and letting the oil drain into a container; then we unscrew the oil sump fixing screws, which we find on the sides of the same, in order to remove it. At this point we are going to clean the base of the cup perfectly, thus replacing its gasket with the original one; reassemble the oil sump and pour in the new engine oil!

Always with the help of the small screwdriver, proceed to make the va and lift the battery out of the housing. Then take the new battery (check the type) and place it on the housing, always making sure to position it with the positive pole facing upwards.
