Replace the Engine Oil and Oil Filter of the Volkswagen Jetta

Follow these instructions to replace the engine oil and oil filter as part of the regular maintenance service for the Volkswagen Jetta. First, lift the vehicle and remove the plastic panel located under the engine by unscrewing all the screws. Next, unscrew the oil drain bolt found under the engine and allow the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes. At this point, unscrew the oil filter cartridge using the appropriate tool and replace it with a new one, finally pouring in the new oil!
