How to replace the rear headlight bulb of a Volkswagen Golf?

Before starting, we need to open the rear hatch of our Volkswagen Golf. Let's start by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure the rear taillight to its housing. Next, we remove the taillight and disconnect its electrical connector to access the bulb. We continue by releasing the clips that hold the bulb to the taillight. At this point, we can remove the damaged bulb and successfully complete the disassembly. To install the new bulb on our Volkswagen Golf, we simply need to follow these steps in reverse, and we will have completed the replacement.
