How to Change the Brake Light Bulb on a Volkswagen Golf 6?

The brake light bulbs on the Volkswagen Golf 6 are installed in the rear tailgate. When one of them blows, to replace it, you need to open the boot and remove the plastic cover located on either side of the tailgate, corresponding to the brake light. Once removed, you can see the bulb holder, which, when pulled out, allows you to immediately replace the burnt-out brake light bulb with a new one. Be careful not to touch the glass with your fingers to avoid any grease from your skin reducing its lifespan. After changing the bulb, refit the bulb holder and the plastic cover before closing the tailgate.
