How to replace the license plate light bulbs in the Volkswagen Golf?

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the license plate light bulbs in the Volkswagen Golf, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, then go to the back of the vehicle, locate the clip on the inner side of the light in question and, possibly using a flat-tip screwdriver, unlock it. Then remove the bulb holder from the housing, extract the old bulb, connect the replacement and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure. Repeat the operation on the opposite side, if necessary.
