Replacement of the rear brake pads of the Volkswagen Golf VII

To replace the rear brake pads of the Volkswagen Golf, first open the brake fluid reservoir, lift the car and remove the wheel, clean the surfaces near the caliper bolts and unscrew them using a combination of a 31 and a 17 key, remove the caliper and hook it to the suspension. Remove the old brake pads, clean the inside of the caliper and, using the appropriate tool, retract the piston. Insert the new pads after spreading a layer of paste on the ends, reposition the caliper and screw the bolts with the two keys, finally tightening with a torque wrench to 35Nm. Put the wheel back on, repeat the operations on the other wheel, lower the car and close the reservoir.
