This brief video tutorial shows how to replace the rear brake pads on a fourth-generation Volkswagen, produced from 1997 to 2003. Start by lifting the car and removing the wheel. Next, remove the two screws at the back of the brake caliper, one located at the top and the other at the bottom. Once done, you can take off the brake caliper along with the worn old pads. Clean the pad seating area, then fit the new brake pads along with the caliper.
