Volkswagen Golf - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 4, Golf IV, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003
Part: Brake discs
Operation: How to replace the rear disc brake pad housing.

The car is positioned on the bridge and it is raised to an ideal height to work on it. The rear tire is removed. Disconnect the two cables for brake operation and oil supply using the appropriate wrench. Now we use the appropriate wrenches for disassembling the brake pad housing (one bolt below and one above the housing). At this point we can mount the new piece for housing the pads in the same position. The sequence of the assembly operations are the same as seen before following a reverse trend. The replacement car is a Volkswagen Golf.
