How to Replace the Brake Pedal Switch on the Volkswagen Golf?

To replace the brake pedal switch on the Volkswagen Golf, open the bonnet and access the engine bay. Here, you will need to loosen the bolts securing the air filter box and completely remove it to access the underlying components. The switch is located at the rear of the engine bay, to the right of the engine block. To remove it, loosen its securing screws and disconnect the connectors: once the old switch is removed, you can insert a new one and reposition the air filter box.
