This guide shows how to replace the rear brake light switch on the Volkswagen Golf. First, open the bonnet and start unscrewing the screws of the upper plastic cover; then unscrew the screws of the air filter box to remove it, allowing access to the brake light switch, as shown in the video. At this point, use a Torx screwdriver to unscrew the switch screw, disconnecting the electrical connector; replace it with the new one and reassemble everything, applying the reverse procedure!
