Removing the rear wiper motor? Here’s how to do it on a Golf 5. Lift the boot of the luggage compartment and remove the plastic cover beneath the rear window. Use a socket spanner to detach the rear wiper arm. Once removed, unscrew the central pin of the wiper motor. Replace the part you removed with a new original one. Refit the wiper motor, tighten the securing screws, and replace the plastic covers. Install a new rear wiper blade. Test the operation of the wiper and the motor.
