In today's tutorial video, you will learn how to remove and replace the rear brake pads and handbrake pads on a fifth-generation Volkswagen Golf. First, lift the vehicle and start by removing the rear wheel; then, unscrew the two retaining bolts of the brake caliper using a 13 mm spanner to remove it. At this point, remove the metal clips and the brake pads, cleaning the caliper of any residual dirt; use a lever on the piston to retract it, allowing you to insert the new pads. Finally, reassemble everything, following the video to the end!
