Volkswagen Golf - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 4, Golf IV, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003
Part: Brake pads
Operation: Replace brake pads on Golf 4

Let's see how to replace the worn pads from inside the rear brake caliper of a golf 4. We lift the car and remove the rim with a telescopic wrench. We unscrew the locking pin of the brake caliper, remove the same from the wheel support. Remove the pads from the wheel hub caliper with a screwdriver. Once the old pads have been removed, we just have to mount the new ones. We mount the brake caliper with the holder on the brake disc, tighten all the pins and mount the wheel. At the end of the assembly, we bleed the oil circulation system and test it for correct operation.
