Replacing Brake Pads on Golf 4

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003

Learn how to replace the worn brake pads inside the rear brake caliper of a Golf 4. Lift the car and remove the wheel using a telescopic spanner. Unscrew the caliper locking pin and remove the caliper from the wheel hub. Use a screwdriver to detach the pads from the wheel hub caliper. Once the old pads are removed, simply fit the new ones. Reattach the brake caliper with the support onto the brake disc, tighten all the pins, and mount the wheel. After assembly, bleed the brake fluid system and test its proper functioning.
