How to Change the Front Brake Discs on a Volkswagen Golf V

Here’s how to change the front brake discs on a Volkswagen Golf V. First, lift the vehicle; do not rely on your jack, use a hydraulic jack and two axle stands. Remove the front wheels and place them under the vehicle. Remove the bolts from the back of the brake calipers; secure the calipers so they do not fall. Using a Torx T30, remove the worn disc from the wheel hub and replace it. Refit the new one. Reposition the caliper by putting back the bolts removed earlier. Refit the wheel and repeat the process on the other side.
