Volkswagen Golf - Video tutorial
Model: Volkswagen Golf
MK 6, Golf 6, Golf VI, 5K1
- Years 2008-2012 Today we will see the main cause of brake system failure, resulting in the brake light coming on, on the Volkswagen Golf. The brake light comes on when an anomaly occurs, which is usually caused by a lack of brake fluid; so we open the hood and make sure that the DOT 4 fluid level is at the maximum mark. At this point, we disconnect the electrical connector of the brake sensor, waiting a few seconds before reconnecting it; then we get into the car and turn on the instrument panel, checking that the light has reset!

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow to reset the TPMS light of the Volkswagen Polo 2011The orange tire light indicates the presence of one or more tires with an inflation pressure below the recommended limit. All this is easily solved by inflating them correctly or replacing them in the event of a puncture. After carrying out these operations it is necessary to reset the warning light and therefore also the sensor in order to have new reading data. All you have to do is start the car ignition and then fully open the glove compartment on the passenger side. Locate the two buttons in the right corner and press "Set". At this point the reset is complete and you can turn off the ignition. by ScegliAuto More videos
