Using a flat head screwdriver, pry the clips to release the struts from the mounting pins, being careful not to damage the surrounding surfaces. Take the new struts and attach them to the pins, pushing them gently until you hear a click confirming their correct anchoring. Make sure they are securely in place and remove the temporary support, checking that the hood opens and closes smoothly.
