How do you reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Up?

The Service indicator that appears on the Volkswagen Up's instrument panel can be reset by going inside the cabin, so that you can press and hold the button on the right side of the instrument panel, labeled "0.0/SET". While holding down the button, you will need to turn the key and turn on the instrument panel, noting that the message "INSP" will appear on the display and the maintenance interval will start flashing. When the indicator becomes steady, you can release the button, noting that the Service indicator has been successfully reset and you can then turn off the instrument panel.
