How do you reset the Climatronic of the Volkswagen Passat?

To reset the Climatronic of the Volkswagen Passat, you will need to turn on the instrument panel, so that you can use the controls located on the central panel of the dashboard. Once the instrument panel is turned on, you will need to simultaneously press the ECON button and the one with the arrow icon pointing towards the passenger's face. By doing this, you will see that the dual-zone climate temperature indicators will become dark; after waiting a few seconds, the indicators will return to the previously set temperature and the air conditioning will be reset.
