To reset the partial odometer of the Volkswagen Golf, you need to insert the ignition key into the corresponding slot: once the dashboard is turned on, you can press and hold the 0.0 button in the center of the dashboard, noticing that messages will start to appear.

When the message "Switch to trip?" appears, you can release the button and immediately press it once: this will allow the partial odometer to reset.

At the end of the procedure, you can turn off the dashboard by removing the key.
