Where is and how to reach the fuse box of a Volkswagen Jetta?

The fuse box of a Volkswagen Jetta is located under the steering column, on the left side of the cabin. To access it, start by turning off the engine and making sure the car is safely parked. Then, open the driver's door and locate the plastic panel that covers the fuse box. This panel is located directly under the steering wheel, near the hood release lever. To remove it, simply pull carefully towards you until it unclips. Once the panel is removed, you will have access to the fuses. To make maintenance easier, refer to the fuse legend in the vehicle manual, which will help you identify the correct fuse to check or replace. After completing the necessary work, reattach the plastic panel and make sure it is securely fastened.
